The Annual Sessions of the WPSA – SL is scheduled to be held in November 2022 at Colombo.
THEME- APPLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE FOR RESILIENCE OF POULTRY INDUSTRY IN SRI LANKA
Papers on poultry health, nutrition, management, processing, marketing, physical and chemical quality, antimicrobial resistance and other relevant disciplines are welcome. Papers relevant to the theme are given priory. Members as well as non-members are encouraged to submit extended abstracts based on original research, case studies, clinical reviews and surveys falling under main theme. Papers can be submitted in English or Sinhala language.
Guidelines for preparation of extended abstracts
The extended abstract should be prepared using MS – Word, page size of A4 with 1-inch margins, font Times New Roman 12. Abstract must be single spaced, including a double space between each paragraph. Word count should be less than 1000. Figures and tables if any could be included and limited to two.
The extended abstract should be organized as; Title and author affiliations, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion and Conclusion. References should be restricted to very important one.

Final date for submission of extended abstracts: 31st August 2022
Abstract will be reviewed by the Technical Committee and selected papers will be notified by 30.09.2022 to authors. Those are requested to submit the corrected version of the extended abstract within 1 week of receiving the acceptance. The extended abstract will be published in the book of abstracts, which will be distributed among participants, members and all sponsors of annual technical sessions 2022. Depending on the reviewer’s comments, some papers will be selected for poster presentations. The best paper presented will be rewarded by a trophy and a cash price of Rs. 25,000.00. Authors can send full papers to publish in WPSA official web site facilitating to view from worldwide and allowing for citations.
